If your loved one lives just outside, ask anyway.

When the day changes, we help.

Six quiet moments that often bring a family to us.

  1. § 01

When a loved one comes home from hospital…

A trained caregiver picks up where discharge instructions leave off: medications, wound care, the slow return to normal.

    Post-hospital recovery

  2. § 02

    When dementia changes the day…

A familiar face, patient presence, and careful notes for family after every visit.

    Dementia & Alzheimer's care

  3. § 03

When you're too tired to keep carrying everything…

A few hours a week, a weekend, a whole week: whatever lets you catch your breath.

    Respite for family caregivers

  4. § 04

When a few hours a week would change everything…

Companionship, meals, light housekeeping, medication reminders. Small support that adds up to staying home, longer.

    Hourly home care

  5. § 05

    When dignity matters most…

Bathing, dressing, mobility: the intimate parts of getting older, done carefully and with dignity.

    Personal care

  6. § 06

    When the care plan grows…

When clinical work grows (wound care, infusions, tubes, trach), Salve's nurses do it at home.

    Complex care

What happens when you reach out.

Every family starts somewhere different. The shape of working with Salve is the same.

  1. 01

    Reach out

Call or send a note through the form. We get back to you within one business day, usually sooner, and set a time for the 15-minute call.

  2. 02

    The 15-minute call

Exactly that: fifteen minutes. We listen first, ask a few questions about what's going on, and tell you honestly whether Salve is the right fit.

  3. 03

    In-home assessment

A senior caregiver or one of our nurses visits for about 45 minutes to learn the routines, the medications, and what your family values.

  4. 04

    Matched with the right caregivers

We pair your loved one with caregivers by experience, schedule, and temperament. You meet whoever's starting before the first visit.

  5. 05

    First visit

We ease into it. The first visit is often short: tea and a conversation, maybe a small task. No one rushes.

  6. 06

    Ongoing care

We show up: the faces your loved one comes to know, on the schedule the plan called for. You get regular updates.

What families tell us.

“I'm very grateful to everyone at Salve Health Care Services. I was desperate to find care for my husband during the night so I could sleep. It was because of their care I knew my husband was in excellent hands. I'm eternally grateful to their tender care of my husband. They treated him with dignity, and gentleness as if he was a member of their own family.”
